Connie sent me this question by email so I'm posting it here with my response as it may help others too.

Is there someplace or can we create a place to make this not only a link directory but also like the forum.... when we go here the directory could be shown first but could there also be a place for people to post questions and give answers like to original forum? Do you understand my question.. I am not sure how to word it... hope I didn't get to confusing.

There are forum-like features built in to the directory so you can post stuff related to the various site links - your own or others. In different places they're referred to as Reviews or Comments, which is perhaps a bit confusing, but they're essentially the same thing in the context of the directory.

When you view a category containing some link entries, each of the link entries has a row of links underneath it like this:

Details | Rate | E-Mail Link | E-Mail Submitter | Reviews (0)

To add comments/reviews (or whatever you want to call them) for a site click on the Reviews link and you'll go to an entry page where you can submit your comments - this is a bit like posting on the forum. Other directory members can post replies to existing comments in this way too - again like posting on the forum. Any comments posted in this way will be viewable by anyone, and the comments are also searchable.

You can also send an email to the site/link owner by clicking the E-Mail Submitter link. Again you'll get a form to fill in and submit to send the email. That may be a better option if you have a question for the site owner as they may not see comments you post.

Hope that does for now - there are still a lot of features of the directory I'm still learning about myself, so I don't necessarily know more than anyone else on some things. I may look into that further and produce another tutorial for posting comments, etc.

I've just discovered that there's a Help system within the directory, although it's currently empty, but I'll be looking into adding help items there as we go along.
