Selling strictly to Us

Hi!
I just published a while ago and was wondering if selling strictly to US for Canadian merchants is working out? Would US customers be hesitant to buy?

When it comes to internet purchasing many of the traditional geographical barriers disappear. If your intent is to focus on a specific international market, make sure that you conduct transactions in their currency. Even though the Canadian and US dollar are pretty much on par you will find that most US customers living south of the border states are hesitant to purchase in a currency other than US.

You will also find that your Canadian customers are less concerned about purchasing product in US funds, so if you are only setting up one gateway I suggest you set it up in US funds. That being said you should also be aware that you will likely need to set up a US bank account. That's not a big deal and is not expensive.
