has anyone used or heard of these companies?

Because we value everyone's opinions on this forum & find your thougts very helpful we want to ask a question. Today we received a seo newsletter, we get them all the time but this time there were a few things that peaked our interest & wanted some feedback before we try any or all of them. The newsletter included these companies:

megawebpromotion.com
directorymaximizer.com
exactseek.com

If anyone has tried any of these optimizers please let us know what your experiences were or are.

I wasted my money on ExactSeek once upon a time.

The others you mention...no telling who they were previous to today. These companies come and go and change names constantly. They get bad publicity someplace and just open under another name.

I am currently wasting my money on something. I signed up on a brain dead day. Must have been the electrical storm the night before. All of my success has been from building a site for generic searches. All my lost $$$$ is from seo attempts with exception of some very select ppc.

My suggestion is to spend your time and effort reading the stickies and threads on the forum and following them.

A good rule for thought is that if they contacted you either with email, phone, fax or? trying to sell you a bag of goods then it probably isn't worth your time. Most of what they offer can be done by you for little of nothing monetarily.

Do some research on them to find out what it is that they claim they can do for you and then use that information to ask questions here on how you can do that yourself.
