Hi
Thanks for this. Now I have setup ftp upload controls and when I ask it to do "upload pages now" in www.linksmanager.com...it show 10% ....upto 100% and I can see all uploaded files at ftp://876188@storesonline.com but my site does'nt get updated.
I published the site again after uploading.
Also, FTP upload test gives "failure message" in linksmanager.com
Can u suggest something?

Ranjan,
What should be the path to your links pages? If you don't know, then what directory name did you choose?

Peter? Well, this Mike (abound).
You successfully uploaded your links directory to http://www.accesscontrol-cctv.com/Links/links.html
The difference is the capital L in Links.html. Turns out it should be lowercase. As a general rule, webpages are not case sensitive. However, I have concluded that StoresOnline is not file system driven (the way the rest of the world is), but is script driven... and the script is case sensitive.

Sorry for the name. I was so involved in link manager that was not seeing the screen properly.
So finally its working.
BUT WOULD LIKE TO KEEP ONE FEED BACK HERE....IT STARTED WORKING WHEN I CREATED Links folder in side Uploaded folder in Ftp://876188@storesonline.com.
Can you confirm whether it was fluke or really link folder should be within uploaded folder???
And lots of thanks to you and forum for givinig prompt and RELEVANT replies.

Are you asking whether you really needed to create the Links folder? The answer is yes. That's why I included instructions for creating it in the tutorial I referred you to.

No..what I meant was....when i went to ftp://876188@storesonline.com...there was already a folder named "uploaded". I made a folder link in the root directory..it did'nt work..but when i created link as a sub directory of directory "uploaded"..it started working..
I mean its all sorted out now...but i am asking just out of acadmic interest.
Thanks

Technically the links folder should be on the same level as the uploaded folder. But if it's working as a sub folder of uploaded then you must have included /uploaded/ in the path and that's why you had to create it there.
