Stats Visitors Unknown

When I check my stats on visitors, it shows visits from Unknown. Does this mean someone entered in my www. address and that brought them in.

When someone clicks on a link to your store from another site (e.g. this forum) that can be tracked and is shown in the Stats.

There are a couple of situations where no tracking info is available: one is when someone types your store URL directly in their browser, and the other is if they go to your store from a previously saved bookmark. In both those cases, there is no link tracking info so they get recorded as Unknown in the Stats.

Although there are no specific tracking Stats for these Unknowns, they could be considered to be good because someone has either remembered your store URL, or has bookmarked it.
