I have chosen my Storesonline template, downloaded Java (sun), ensured my Web browser (Explorer 6) is enabled to view Java scripting. When trying to use the Storesonline html editor, however, to manipulate the template (well, to make template changes), I find that no graphics can be viewed and I cannot change any of the template colours. At the bottom of the screen is a message saying that my browser is not Java scripting enabled.
I have downloaded the Java (sun) software on both my computers (I have a network), but still get the same result. I have the same Microsoft program on both computers to stop popups - which I have disabled - and find I still cannot get rid of the message saying I am not Java scripting enabled.
The Storesonline Chat cannot help me but advise the standard things to do. Can anyone here help me?
I am used to using Frontpage, which has been successful for me in building web pages over the last 5 years. As many of you will know, you can build pages with this program with limited html knowledge. I was hoping the html editor in Storesonline would also allow me to manipulate the chosen Storesonline template along similar lines - which it appears to do if I could get the Java enabled.
Other Storesonline members must have similar html limitations, so I am wondering how they got around modifying their chosen templates. Any suggestions on what I have outlined so far would be appreciated - or any other different approach to modifying templates would be appreciated.
