Avoiding Taxes! Question

Hi folks,

I am New Zealand based and in the midst of setting up my first Storesonline site. Today I received a telephone call from the States that came via my connection with EMS Coaching. The caller outlined a procedure for basing my Storesonline site in Nevada, where I could operate my site without worrying about taxes. Apparently, I could also avoid having to place a reminder on my site for New Zealand buyers that purchases from my site would be subjected to GST (a New Zealand goods and service tax).

The system sounded great until their fees were mentioned: a one-fee of $1200.95, plus an ongoing fee of $60 per month. These fees sound very expensive and I am wondering if other Storesonline people are using this facility - particularly New Zealand site owners. Your feedback would be appreciated.

Someone else on the site was talking about this and had bought into it. I hope they read your post because, as I remember, it wasn't doing them much good.

Considering who you got the referral from, I would be very careful.
