In the last weeks, I noticed, that some Search Engines showed links to my store - BUT did NOT belong to me, actually they showed Links of my Links partners.
It was "only" MSN where I actually noticed it - so I didn't pay much attention, thinking (yeah right! ) it's just a hick up by the SE.
Well, I think it was me, who caused it.
Doing my Links Pages with LA - I use the FTP method - meaning I want to blend in my Links Page into the store.
Blending the Links Page into the store, means you do a "View Source" on your homepage and copy and paste parts of it above and below your Code page.
Without paying attention - I copied all Meta Tags from my homepage into the Links Page.
I didn't do it only on my Links Page, but in all stores, I was helping with the original set up - always using their homepage and their Meta Tags.
So everybody concerned - do the following:
Open your project (store) in LA
Go to your code page and look on top for all lines containing:
<META name=XXXXXXXX>
highlight them all and delete them. as they are the Meta Tags from your Homepage and NOT from your Links Page !
Click on "Save" , "Generate Link Pages" and upload them to your storesfront and click on "Publish".
You don't need Meta Tags for your Links Page, as the Links are pointing to your partners and NOT to your store.
