My 4.0 site is ranked on google yahoo and Msn. Does anyone know the best way to convert site to pro without loosing rankings and reciprocal links.

Thanks

You are going to lose ranking, except possibly on your home page. You will certainly lose in on your interior pages because the url will be different.

You are going to lose links unless you write to everyone of your link partners (easier if you're in Zeus or LA) and let them know where to find their new url.

You will lose all your ranking on your links pages.

Why would you want to do this?

Hi Shoshana

I've been told that I can name all my pages so that they are the same url.
Do you believe them?

You can name all your pages with names instead of page numbers, which ultimately will be a good thing. Also the nav bar is written in html instead of javascript so the search engines can read it.

I would say move it if you can afford the time it will take to get reestablished with the SE. If you optimize it before you publish and the home page url is the same, it shouldn't take you long.

5.0 is a whole different animal than 4.0 tho. :?
