Hello, This is my first posting. I am new. Please help me with comments and suggestions on my MSI account activation. I submitted this to MSI in Singapore on 25th July 2006, and despite many reminders from me and promises upon promises by MSI executive in Singapore, I am still kept in the dark. Of late, all my emails to MSI Singapore have gone unanswered. And when we rang them to-day, we were informed by auto voice that the phone has been disconnected. Can someone help me please? We have constantly informed/complained to Storesonline Help Service but they are of no help at all. I am at a loss as to what is happening and am very frustrated. Have any of you encountered this similar problem? Is there another way out? I don't know who to contact now! Thank you. I just look forward to your help and support.

Borneo,

If you look in the Shopping Cart, Merchant account thread you will see many are in your shoes. Wish we had a solution for you, we dont. We suggested 2checkout.com and SOL said they werent able to integrate it. We totally sympathize with you, but dont know what we can do to get it solved for you.

I think you should demand a FULL REFUND from SOL as you cannot have a store without a merchant account which you were promised when you attended the workshop.

After you get the refund, if you want to build, I suggest you look at other alternatives.

But, I do not believe they can continue to keep your money and continue to make promises without delivering. I wouldn't stand for it and I think you have to press the issue on this.

Considering how many of you are out there in this situation, I certainly sympathize - but I cannot help and only can suggest that you seek help - legal help if necessary.

Hi Karen, Hi Beth et al,

I appreciate your sympathies but that's not what I want, really. What I want is for them to comply and fulfill their promise! Storesonline made a great deal of promises during their presentation. I flew more than 1,000 kilometers paying airfares, hotel and registration fees for 4 people from my company! And what do I get? Whenever I get in touch with their Customer Support, they will say that there's nothing much they can do. I must tell all of you that I bought the 6 storefront BECAUSE of the professionally designed and arranged payment gateway they promised (with their smart partnership with MSI). If I had wanted clickbank or 2checkout or PayPal, I need not have bought Storesonline. Can any one advise me how I can get my money back? The Customer Service thus far is a shamble and certainly of no help in any significant way. Meanwhile, may I also ask how you guys managed to activate your MSI and whether or not you experienced any kind of difficulties. Anyway, thanks Karen and thanks Beth for your sympathies and suggestion which I truly appreciate with goodness in my heart. Blessings to all, Allen

Borneo,

If it was me Id be seeing a lawyer, or filing complaints with the government and trying to meet up with others in the same situation. We would love to be able to make storesonline give you your money or give you what you bought ... but we dont have that power.

We cant fix it, wish we could. Instead we are here for you to vent and understand. Best that we can do.

OK. NOOOOOO..............laughing aloud  but I would try a consumer advocate like Clark Howard. Has a radio program and website, and loves to get his teeth into stuff like this. www.clarkhoward.com. Offers great financial advice AND has taken on many, many organizations that attempt to bilk the general public. It's worth a shot. Just have all your ducks in a row when contacting: dates, with whom you spoke, promises, money spent...etc. Just a thought, Lane

Lane, They aren't in the US - so I don't know that they'll get far contacting a US radio or tv station.

I still say they need to band together and fight this - they paid good money and cannot sell a single product and SOL is not offering solutions in any type of timely manner - and they have given them plenty of opportunities.

Well, I don't actually know if Clark WILL deal with a consumer in Borneo, however, SOL is certainly located here and I think the website can be accessed internationally. Just my lowly 2 cents. :( Advocacy groups can be very powerful. Perhaps a petition? Generated online and then delivered to the appropriate agency? :?: :?: Lane
