View Full Version : Has anyone ever got through to the chat line?

Hi I've been a stores online pro customer since February 2006 and during that time I have never ever been able to get through to the chat line. I always get the "all our operators are busy" message. I have the latest java and I have no difficulty in getting through to other sites which use java. I have XP pro and the latest Sun java and I always update as soon as I am told of the latest update. Until now I have always had to use email support which of course has an inbuilt 1 to 3 day time lag.

I have gotten through to the chat line any time I had a brain drain and thought I could get a little help.

Do you have a pop up blocker that may be preventing it?

You can usually find answers here quicker.

Hi Mike

I've never had any trouble at all getting through to Chat. So I think you should just phone Help and ask them what's wrong.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond but I've been setting up my ebay store.

I have raised the matter with help but they only reply with instructions about Sun Java and since I can easily get through to another site using exactly the same Sun Java I don't think that that is the problem.

Can I ask what part of the UK you are both in and whether you have BT and broadband. I have Cablewest and broadband and they do seem to have a problem getting through with email to some USA sites.

I'm in Bristol, and I'm on BT Broadband. Don't know if that helps!

I don't know if that's the problem it may just be that I always try to get through at busy times. I always see the screens but I always get the "all our operators are busy" message.
I've always used email successfully to get through but it's usually a one to two day delay to get a response.

Mike - I don't think it is to do with the times. I have never got the "all operators are busy" notice whatever time I have tried, over a period of six months.
